Child Trafficking
- Over 1,200 children were identified as potential victims of trafficking last year
- The most common reasons for children to be trafficked are labour exploitation and sexual exploitation
- The most common countries for children to be trafficked from are UK, Albania, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Eritrea
- The NSPCC has dealt with over 1,600 cases of child trafficking since 2007
- The NSPCC Child Trafficking Advice Centre (CTAC) provides free guidance and training to professionals concerned that a child or young person has been or is about to be trafficked into or out of the UK.

Boys and Young Men
According to Barnardos, the sexual exploitation of boys and young men is a much bigger problem than many people realise. Research carried out by University College London for Barnardos found that almost 1 in 3 of the sexually exploited young people supported by them since 2008 (over 9,000) were male.
