In 2021 we took part in the South Yorkshire-wide Safeguarding Awareness Week. We had a range of events and training planned including:

  • Self-Neglect and Hoarding Policy and Procedures: Self-Neglect Policy to Practice
  • Free Domestic abuse interventions for young people in Rotherham, applicable for both victims and potential perpetrators
  • Media Literacy and Extremism: A guide teaching professionals how to combat extremism through media literacy skills
  • Let's Talk About Safe Transitions for our Young People: Bridging the Gap between services
  • Sharing Images Online: For Young People
  • Advocacy: Supporting parents in relation to Child Protection, Child in Need and Looked after Children
  • Introduction to Kooth in Rotherham
  • The Role of the Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA)
  • Supporting Vulnerable Drinkers
  • Be the One: Working together to prevent suicides and save lives in Rotherham
