About Rotherham Children Safeguarding Partnership
Rotherham Safeguarding Children Partnership supports organisations in Rotherham to work together in a system where:
- Children are kept safe, and their well-being is a top priority.
- Different organisations work together and share a common goal: to improve the lives of vulnerable children.
- These organisations hold each other accountable and speak up when things need to improve.
- New risks to children's safety are spotted early and carefully looked into.
- Lessons are learned from past experiences, helping services improve and adapt how they support children and families.
- Information is shared quickly and accurately, so better decisions can be made for children and their families.
The RSCP is a statutory body, established in accordance with the Children Act 2004 and Working Together guidance 2023.
