Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE)

Reporting Concerns

Professionals should follow their usual safeguarding procedures.

Safeguarding concerns about children and young people should be reported into Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub

Intelligence and information about crimes can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers or by phoning the police.

Crimestoppers can be used to report intelligence which will support action to combat CCE, such as information about suspected perpetrators. However, it must not be used to report safeguarding concerns about individual children. These must be reported to multi-agency safeguarding hub in line with safeguarding procedures.
