Child Exploitation

Our response to Child Exploitation

Child exploitation remains a key focus of the RSCP. There have been significant successes in Rotherham in the way in which children at risk of exploitation are supported by professionals.

The Child Exploitation Delivery Group (CEDG) has continued to look to develop our approach including devising a new workplan and a new data dashboard to give us a more nuanced understanding of how our actions are improving the lives of children in Rotherham.

A new Child Exploitation strategy has been developed and agreed by the partnership which will support and enhance the support offered to children in line with the ethos of Prepare, Prevent, Protect and Pursue.
